What we do

Our Global Goals

  • The Turning Point

    Busta

In line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, Wastebuster is working with young people to get their voices heard. Never has it been more important to provide young people with the tools and mindset to work together towards a more sustainable future.

The global Education for Sustainable Development Platform (ESDP) will bring cross-sector stakeholders together to share knowledge, technology and resources to improve coordination of sustainable development education, globally.

  • For Our Oceans

    Turtle in Sea

As the global ocean plastics issue has intensified, Wastebuster has been in talks with the UN, Governments, industry and NGOs regarding a more joined up, global, multi-stakeholder approach to youth engagement, in support of ocean waste reduction and circular economy development.

  • Making Change Happen

    Child Reading Book

The first global campaign (2018-20) on plastics, will focus on responsible consumption and production and will provide a global education platform and civic engagement programme in support of UN Environment’s Clean Seas Campaign.

Wastebuster proposes a three-pronged approach to harness the potential of interdisciplinary working, and innovation to engage young people.

  • Education for Sustainable Development

    Kids

A progressive pathway of learning from early years to tertiary education with content that will influence attitude and behaviour change in young people, and generate data to demonstrate the link between knowledge, attitudes and behaviours.

  • Entertainment for Social Change

Compelling content using techniques employed by the film and media industry to make environmental issues relatable, comprehensible and engaging for young people.

  • Campaigns for Youth Engagement, Empowerment & Enterprise
